My artwork is part of Yoko Ono's Installation "Arising" (2013+) on display at Vancouver Art Gallery (2021-2022).
I have considered deleting or achieving this artwork as it is vulnerable and painful. It encapsulates painful memories of being voiceless and small in the wrong ways. But, it also makes me think of what it means to be powerful and embodied through smallness. Ultimately consent is key in the experience of pleasure not pain.
